Why This Work is Important to Me:
As a younger player, I craved having a person in my corner who was more interested in my personal development than the team’s success. I’ve had the privilege of working with that type of person, and it’s the most powerful form of support I have received.
I want to help young athletes feel supported like I have. I want to teach them how to relentlessly chase their athletic potential without sacrificing the beauty of discovering who they are as a person. I want to help them find the nuances of volleyball and life that fill them with joy, the outcomes that motivate them, the struggles that frustrate them, and the things that matter to them the most.
My journey of growth through volleyball has taught me so much. I have had many conversations along the way that have shaped who I am as a player and, more importantly, as a person.
These types of conversations can be hard to come by when your support system consists only of people who need to make roster and court-time decisions. So I am here, creating those conversations and a space for athletes to come work through sport—feeling entirely supported, regardless of any outcome.
